See the Norman Rockwell Exhibition
and Meet The Models!

Hop on a bus tour and meet one of Norman Rockwell’s models, take pictures & get an autograph!┬áLocated on the bank of the Roaring Branch River, you can stretch your legs as you stand nestled between the Taconic Mountains to your west, and the Green Mountains to the east. This region, affectionately known as The Shires of Vermont, has Manchester and its famous shopping to the north, and Bennington steeped in history to the south. Arlington is the heart of the Shires and is an ideal stop for bus tours.

We’ll start your bus tour off in our Sugar House with an 18 minute film on Rockwell’s life while here in Arlington, VT. Then, we’ll move inside to our exhibit, where Mr. Don Fisher, a model in the 1954 Saturday Evening Post Cover “Breaking Home Ties” OR Ruth Skellie, a model in the 1939 Post Cover “Marbles Champion” will speak to the group about their experience posing for Rockwell, and will be happy to autograph a print for you! Pictures with them are also welcome.

Browse our Rockwell gift shop full of prints, mugs, books, etc, then head into our country store and sample our own pure VT maple syrup, as well as other VT goodies – you’ll be sure to find that perfect VT souvenir! Bus groups always get 10% off all of our maple products.
